Follow these four steps to create your first opportunity and process a discovery call.
Step 1: Create the Account
- Open the Sales OS database
- Go to the Accounts view
- Click New and enter the account name
- Open the account page
- Run research: Open Notion AI on the account page and say:
- Paste the research output into the account page
Step 2: Schedule Discovery
- Set the discovery meeting with the prospect
- Create a calendar hold with attendees confirmed
- Stage 0 is now complete
Step 3: Create the Opportunity
- In the Sales OS database, go to Opportunities view
- Click New
- Fill in:
- Opportunity Name: "[Account Name] Q[X] [Year]"
- Account: Link to the account you created
- Stage: Stage 1 - Discovery
- Primary System: Select their primary system from the dropdown (if applicable)
- Open the opportunity page
